YES. I AM AWESOME. project

Am o noua obsesie si ca de obicei, aleg sa o impartasesc cu voi. Iarna asta, am descoperit prin dulapul in care imi tin toate bascutele si caciulitele, o bentita. O bentita facuta de bunica, de pe vremea cand ea facea pulovere frumoase si calduroase, bentite crosetate, palarii inflorate si alte zeci de minunatii.

I have a new obsession and as per usual, I choose to share it with all of you. This winter, while searching my hat closet, I found a headband. A headband made by my grandmother no less, back from when she used to make warm sweaters, knitted headbands, flowery hats and dozens of other things.

Bentita asta e perfecta, atunci cand parul meu e vraiste, parca il strange laolalta, sau il face sa arate vraiste intr-un mod placut; tot bentita asta e perfecta si atunci cand parul meu e cuminte si ascultator, tocmai pentru ca imi permite sa nu-l ascund intr-o caciula, sa nu-l turtesc sau ignor.
Nu-mi place sa port des acelasi lucru, desi fac usor o pasiune pentru o anumita piesa. Asa, m-am gandit sa inmultesc colectia de bentite calduroase, colorate, pe care le pot purta oricand, chiar si atunci cand voi alege paltonul negru si comun, pentru ca e cel mai calduros, ele ma vor salva. Pe frigul asta infiorator, reusesc sa ma simt extravaganta, sa ma simt awesome!!

This knitted headband is perfect for when my hair is a mess; it either makes it look neat or messy in a good kind of way. It’s also perfect for when my hair is all nice and well behaved, because it gives me the chance to show it off.
I don’t like wearing the same thing too much, although I tend to stick with some pieces. That’s how I came up with the idea of multiplying this collection of warm, colorful headbands that I can wear even with my black but oh so warm coat, because they’ll brighten my outfit. Even during such bad, cold weather I manage to feel extravagant, to feel awesome!

Totul a pornit de la o imagine de pe tumblr, dar nu a ramas doar atat. Usor, usor...o sa devina un proiect, pentru ca noi, femeile...trebuie sa ne amintim uneori, sa recunoaste, ca da, suntem grozave!

It all started from an image posted on Tumblr, but it continued to grow. Slowly but surely, this will all become a project, because us, women, need to remind ourselves from time to time that yes, we ARE awesome!

Vreau sa le multumesc frumoaselor doamne si domnisoare care au acceptat sa pozeze. Mi-a facut placere sa observ cum ideea mea le-a amuzat, chiar incantat, desi au fost luate total prin surprindere.
